In the continuation of capacity building and creating the strong cooperation between OMC and Community volunteers, OMC has conducted training to Community Volunteers who volunteer to work with us.
This training was attended by a total of seventy-nine (79) community volunteers from all zone OMC office Dumila, Gairo and Mikumi.
This training was conducted to equip community volunteers with knowledge and skills necessary to mobilize, train, and support savings groups within their local communities including Dineries and Parishes within the Anglican Church diocese of Morogoro.
Objectives of the Training
To build capacity of community volunteers on the concept and importance of savings groups.
To provide practical skills on group formation and Management
Understand the roles and Responsibilities of community volunteers
Learn effective outreach & mobilization methods
Gain time management and teamwork skills
The training was successful in empowering community volunteers with knowledge and skills to strengthen savings groups. With continuous support, these community volunteers will help foster good savings group Management, financial inclusion and improve the livelihoods of community members.
