It is truly a blessing to witness the positive impact our Saving and Loans Program has had on over 3000 beneficiaries since its inception in 2018, spanning across the Morogoro region.
The dedication of our members to saving, borrowing, and investing from their self-capitalized loan fund has been remarkable. The repayment of all loans with interest has not only ensured the sustainability of the program but has also led to the Loan Portfolio at Risk being maintained at a commendable 5%. This surplus is then shared among members as dividends at the conclusion of each year, further fostering a sense of financial empowerment and community support.
Moreover, the collective efforts of our groups go beyond individual financial transactions. Social funds are pooled together to provide assistance to members in need as well as contribute to community causes through grants and interest-free loans. This spirit of solidarity and mutual aid is what truly sets our program apart.
However, as we reflect on our achievements, we acknowledge the disparities in capital levels among different groups. To address this issue, OMC recognizes the critical need to allocate additional capital to these groups, thereby bridging the existing gap.
The interest generated from these investments will be strategically channeled into our Saving Groups Outreach programs and other impactful community initiatives, ensuring a sustainable and inclusive approach to financial growth and social welfare. We warmly invite you to join us in this journey towards creating a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and communities, fostering a culture of financial resilience and social responsibility.
Let us work hand in hand to build a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
When you contribute to OMC, you are not just giving a donation; you are investing in programs that have the power to transform lives and pave the way for poverty eradication.
